I filmed him speaking at a local business where staff members were invited to reflect and open up. What followed was powerful. Several shared personal stories they’d never voiced before. The appreciation afterward was clear. Like most people, they don’t want to be talked at. They want to be connected with. The experience strengthened camaraderie in a genuine way.

He also collaborated with a local teacher and coach Joe Bush for leadership workshops both at Elk Grove High School and the ESCO Community, inspiring high-achieving students to lead with courage and service.

While serving as a promotions producer at NBC Chicago, I recognized the brand’s broader impact and helped bring it to air as part of a Mental Health Monday feature. The following day, Me2We saw a 60% increase in social reach from multiple TV airings, helping further legitimize their work in the community.
